    HM&P Law Firm ("HM&P") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Nguyen Sy Nguyet Linh as Counsel at HM&P. This appointment is to strengthen HM&P's in-depth advisory capabilities in the fields of finance and banking compliance, corporate governance, and highly complex business activities.

    This is part of HM&P's strategy to develop its professional team, which aims to build comprehensive advisory capacity for financial institutions and businesses operating in areas with high requirements for risk management, legal compliance and business operations in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.

    With more than 15 years of experience in the field of legal and compliance at major financial institutions, Ms. Linh has held many senior legal management positions such as Legal Manager and Chief Legal Officer. During her career, she has directly advised the Board of Directors and the Executive Board on corporate governance, legal risk management, compliance strategies and handling legal issues arising in a complex and highly accurate environment. In addition, Ms. Linh also has extensive experience working with state management agencies on issues related to inspection, examination and handling of legal risks.

    In her role as Counsel, Ms. Linh will be involved in supporting and advising HM&P in a number of focus areas, including:

    • Legal consultancy in the field of finance – banking, insurance and investment;
    • Building and reviewing compliance systems, corporate governance and legal risk management;
    • Advising on transactions and business activities related to technology, data and finance;
    • Assisting in handling legal issues arising in inspection, examination, dispute resolution and legal crisis handling.

     

     

    Ms. Linh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and is a member of the Vietnam Bar Association. In addition to her in-depth legal background, she also holds international certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), thereby strengthening her consulting capacity on issues related to data, privacy and legal operations in the modern digital business environment.

    HM&P believes that Ms. Linh's appointment will further strengthen the firm's advisory capabilities in highly complex legal areas, while supporting HM&P to expand its ability to provide practical legal solutions strategically and in line with the increasingly diverse needs of customers.
