HM&P as the principal sponsor of The 75th anniversary celebration of Vietnam-Hungary diplomatic relations

On March 15, 2025, HM&P Law Firm (“HM&P”) was honored to accompany the Consulate General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City as the principal sponsor of the 75th anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary. The event took place at the Sheraton Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, with the distinguished presence of Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; Mr. Lehőcz Gábor, Consul General of Hungary, and his spouse; along with more than 100 guests representing foreign diplomatic missions in Ho Chi Minh City, economic organizations, businesses, and academic institutions from both countries. The event marked a significant milestone in the enduring friendship between Vietnam and Hungary. 

In his speech, Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Lehőcz Gábor, emphasized Vietnam’s crucial role in Hungary’s cooperation strategy in Asia and reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to further strengthening bilateral collaboration in the coming years. 

During the event, speakers discussed the vast potential for deepened cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary, focusing on three key areas: (1) Economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Hungary; (2) Education and scientific cooperation; (3) Legal and investment opportunities. 

The event took place in a dignified and amicable atmosphere, fostering goodwill between representatives of both countries. Additionally, the celebration was enriched by outstanding artistic performances by renowned Vietnamese and Hungarian artists. These cultural showcases, embodying the distinct identities of both nations, contributed to a meaningful exchange and further reinforced the bond between the two peoples.
