    HM&P attends in the Seminar on development of service industry in Ho Chi Minh City by 2030, with a vision to 2050

    At the invitation of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, on the morning of July 25, the representative of HM&P Law Firm, Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc, attended and presented at the seminar on the development of service industry in Ho Chi Minh City by 2030, with a vision to 2050. 

    The seminar was attended by Deputy Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade Bui Ta Hoang Vu, and heads of various departments, institutes, universities, and representatives of departments of industry and trade of southern provinces. 

    At the seminar, Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, stressed the importance of the project "Building Ho Chi Minh City into a major service center of the country and the region with high quality, modern and high value-added services". This project is urgently needed to help Ho Chi Minh City overcome existing obstacles and limitations and create a breakthrough for future development. The city needs to identify and set goals from now to 2030, with a vision to 2050, to reach the standards of high-ranking cities in the region and become a globally competitive service center. 

    Mr. Vu also stated that the seminar received 35 valuable contribution discourse from interested agencies, units and individuals. In addition, many remarks from experts and representatives of service enterprises were shared, providing a basis for the study and development of the project in the next phase. 

    At the seminar, Our Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc presented a discourse entitled "Developing Ho Chi Minh City's Legal Service Industry: The Need for Active Support from Management Agencies". In this discourse, Lawyer Phuc pointed out that Ho Chi Minh City has great potential and opportunities to develop the legal services industry - an important sector contributing to the city's development. However, this industry has not received sufficient attention or adequate investment and support for further development. 

    On the sidelines of the seminar, Lawyer Nguyen Van Phuc also exchanged and shared issues related to practice and service delivery with representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, Dong Thap Department of Industry and Trade, ITPC, and service providers in the city. The parties had a frank and sincere exchange to support and cooperate for the development of the city's service industry in the coming period. 

    Through the seminar, HM&P hopes that the city government will pay more attention and provide timely, adequate and practical support to further develop the service industry in general and the legal service industry in particular. The goal of making the service industry the center of development shows the city's ambition and correct direction for a new period of successful and modern development. With its efforts, HM&P hopes to contribute to the development of the city in the coming period.
