On August 28, 2025, Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc, representative of HM&P Law Firm ("HM&P"), attended the Fitch on Vietnam 2025 annual conference held at the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City. The event was organized by Fitch Ratings to update Vietnam's macroeconomic outlook, financial and banking markets and credit rating.

This is an important forum, attracting the attention of many financial institutions, banks, businesses and investors to discuss the macroeconomic outlook and financial market of Vietnam. Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Chien attended the Conference and gave an important speech sharing about the macroeconomic situation and development orientation of Vietnam in the coming time.

In addition, according to Fitch Ratings, Vietnam continues to be one of the fastest growing economies in the world, significantly benefiting from the trend of diversifying global supply chains. Since 2014, Fitch has upgraded Vietnam's national credit rating three times, reflecting a steady improvement in its credit profile compared to its peers.
The conference focused on discussing with Fitch Ratings experts on:
- Macroeconomic outlook and policy reform orientation.
- Bond market, banking sector and credit risks.
- The challenges come from trade tensions, dependence on foreign direct investment (FDI) and the level of financial leverage.

According to Phuc, although there are still some short-term pressures such as international trade tensions, world instability, dependence on FDI or pressure from financial leverage, these factors are unlikely to change Vietnam's positive outlook in the medium term. The analysis of experts at the conference also emphasized that, in addition to the reform signals from the Government, issuers, investors and market participants need to actively seek solutions to adapt to changes in the credit environment.

Sharing at the conference, Lawyer Phuc said:
"In the context of many variables that can impact the economy, it is especially important to timely grasp objective analysis from reputable organizations such as Fitch Ratings. This is not only the basis for planning business and investment strategies, but also helps businesses manage risk effectively and take advantage of opportunities from global reforms and trends."

Attending the Fitch on Vietnam 2025 conference not only gives HM&P direct access to the latest analysis from Fitch Ratings, but also helps to strengthen the practical perspective on financial-banking trends and the investment environment in Vietnam. On that basis, HM&P is committed to continuing to accompany clients and partners by providing timely, effective and practical legal solutions in the field of finance and banking, an area that is the strength and core of HM&P's operations in Vietnam.
