During the series of events from October 11 to 13, 2025, Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc representing HM&P Law Firm ("HM&P"), attended the 38th LAWASIA Conference 2025 organized by the Vietnam Bar Association in collaboration with LAWASIA in Hanoi. With the theme "Transacting in the Asia-Pacific – Legal, Cultural and Environmental Challenges", the conference attracted the participation of 579 delegates from 41 countries and territories, including leaders of the Government of Vietnam, representatives of regional bar organizations, academics and hundreds of lawyers practicing internationally.

The conference took place with 03 plenary sessions and many in-depth thematic sessions in areas such as: alternative dispute resolution (ADR), communication – technology and data security, competition and antitrust, finance – banking, securities – investment, environmental law, etc intellectual property law, law firm governance, and the role of law in the preservation of indigenous cultures. The sessions were highly appreciated for their topicality and ability to inform policy, as the Asia-Pacific region is emerging as a hub of innovation and sustainable growth.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long affirmed that LAWASIA 38 is the leading prestigious intellectual forum, contributing to promoting the rule of law and building a safe and transparent trading environment. Vietnam also proposed two key themes at the conference: (i) Strengthening the foundation of peace, cooperation and development in the South China Sea region on the basis of international law; and (ii) The role of law in preserving indigenous cultural diversity in the context of globalization.

At the symposium, Lawyer Nguyen Van Phuc and domestic and foreign delegates participated in exchanging and discussing outstanding legal issues, especially on data security, law firm governance and legal professional cooperation in the integration period. With many years of experience in providing legal advice for domestic and foreign businesses, Lawyer Phuc emphasizes that:
