HM&P participated in the seminar "Business prospects of Norwegian businesses in 2024"

In the afternoon of 25/01, accepting the invitation of the Organizing Committee, HM&P representative, our Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc was honored to participate in the seminar on "Business Outlook for Norwegian Companies in Vietnam" by the Embassy of Norway in Vietnam, Norwegian Innovation Center in Vietnam ("Innovation Norway"),  together with Nordic Chamber of Commerce Vietnam ("Nordcham Vietnam") to co-organize with the aim of creating opportunities for the Norwegian business community to meet, share and discuss cooperation opportunities and investment prospects in Vietnam.

With the participation of Ms. Hilde Solbakken, Norwegian Ambassador, Ms. Karin Greve, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Norway in Vietnam and Ms. Eva Maria Hansen, President of NordCham Vietnam. In addition, the seminar also had the participation of a number of Norwegian enterprises operating in Vietnam such as Equinor, Vard, Mainstream, Eagle Technology SAS,... and a small number of partner enterprises from Vietnam.

According to Norwegian Ambassador Hilde Solbakken, Vietnam poses as a highly competitive market for foreign investment in which Norwegian companies can further invest and grow their businesses. The Innovation Norway and NordCham Vietnam will always open our doors to support at best every Norwegian ventures keening on Vietnam's government, business community and advocacy.

The next, she said "Innovation Norway and Nordcham are always open to best support any Norwegian business that cares about Vietnam's business community and policies”. Innovation Norway will play an important role in promoting innovation and sustainable development of Norwegian businesses in Vietnam.

At the same time, at the Seminar, delegates listened to the sharing from representatives of influential Norwegian businesses such as: Jacques-Etienne Michel (Equinor Vietnam), Arne K. Nilsen (Eagle Technology AS), Giang Nguyen (Mainstream Renewable Power), and Hans Hakon Norr (Focus Construction).

Coming to the conference, our Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc had the opportunity to listen to valuable sharing from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Vietnam and NordCham Vietnam and other businesses, through which HM&P added more knowledge, important information in investment consulting activities for Norwegian businesses in particular and European businesses in general.

In addition, the seminar also had the opportunity for our Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc to exchange and connect with a dinner party with participants organized by the Norwegian Embassy. At the exchange, HM&P also understood and grasped some of the needs of Norwegian businesses already present in Vietnam as well as businesses and investors who are interested in the Vietnamese market.
