HM&P participates in the Vietnam-Bulgaria Business Forum in Ho Chi Minh City

On the afternoon of November 27, 2024, the "Vietnam-Bulgaria Business Forum" was successfully held at the Rex Hotel Saigon, bringing together high-ranking leaders from both nations. The forum welcomed the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Vietnam, Pavlin Todorov, and a delegation of Bulgarian representatives. From Vietnam, the attendees included Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, Vo Van Hoan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC), Mr. Tran Phu Lu, and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Planning and Investment, Mr. Quach Ngoc Tuan. Representing HM&P, Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc was honored to participate and interact with over 300 businesses from Vietnam and Bulgaria.

The forum was organized as part of the official visit to Vietnam by President Rumen Radev and First Lady Desislava Radeva from November 24-28 at the invitation of President Luong Cuong. Alongside key activities in Hanoi, the forum in Ho Chi Minh City was a significant event aimed at strengthening business connectivity and cooperation between the two countries. 

Ho Chi Minh City was highlighted as a crucial gateway connecting Vietnam to the world. Mr. Phuc remarked that the city is not only a leading hub for economics, culture, and innovation in Vietnam but also an attractive investment destination for Bulgarian enterprises. Fields such as information technology, organic agriculture, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, and renewable energy were proposed for collaboration, aligning with the city’s future development strategies. 

At the forum, Lawyer Phuc shared practical insights on foreign investment in Vietnam, including legal regulations, tax policies, and investment incentives available in Ho Chi Minh City. He emphasized that HM&P consistently provides comprehensive legal services, supporting businesses in their investment and operational endeavors in Vietnam. 

The event served not only as an opportunity for Vietnam and Bulgaria to showcase their potential and promote cooperation in key sectors but also as a platform to inspire entrepreneurship and innovation among participating businesses.
