Nguyen Sy Nguyet Linh

Ms. Nguyen Sy Nguyet Linh is a Counsel at HM&P, with more than 15 years of experience in the legal and compliance fields, particularly in the highly complex industries such as finance – banking, insurance and investment. She has in-depth experience in corporate governance consulting, legal risk management, building compliance systems and assisting financial institutions and businesses in handling legal issues arising in the process of operating and developing business activities.

Prior to joining HM&P, Ms. Linh held various senior legal management positions such as Legal Manager and Chief Legal Officer at major financial institutions. In these roles, she directly advises the Board and Executive Board on compliance strategy, corporate governance, legal risk management, and legal issues related to business operations in a highly regulated environment. She also has extensive experience working with state management agencies in inspection, examination and handling of sensitive and complex legal issues.

At HM&P, Ms. Linh advises in key areas including finance – banking, insurance, investment, corporate governance, legal compliance, data and legal risk management. She also assists clients in complex transactions, restructuring activities, reviewing internal compliance systems, and handling legal issues arising during inspections, examinations, and dispute resolution.

With an extensive professional background and practical experience at large financial institutions, Ms. Linh provides clients with a combined perspective of legal advice, risk management and practical understanding of business operations in an increasingly complex legal environment and high compliance requirements.

Ms. Linh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and is a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association. In addition, she also holds international certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), thereby strengthening her consulting capacity on issues related to data, privacy and legal operations in the modern corporate environment.
