HM&P Law Firm ("HM&P") is pleased to introduce a new series of professional articles entitled "Wednesday for Data", which is published every Wednesday to provide practical knowledge, in-depth legal analysis and implementation guidance for businesses in the process of complying with the Data Law 2024 and the Personal Data Protection Law (“PDP”) 2025 and related regulations.
It can be said that the launch of this series is part of HM&P's long-term strategy to accompany businesses to build data compliance capacity, especially in the context of the data legal framework in Vietnam that has been completed and strict compliance requirements.

Why is HM&P launching the "Wednesday for Data" series?
In recent years, HM&P has implemented many training and support activities in the field of PDP, including:
- Training for nearly 100 businesses in Ho Chi Minh City on compliance with the law on PDP.
- Training program on PDP in branding.
- Publication of Guidelines for compliance with PDP law for enterprises in Vietnam.
- Consulting and training on data and PDP law for businesses.
- In-depth articles and events to build compliance, data governance and risk assessment systems for businesses of different sizes and types.
From the practice of consulting and implementing compliance projects in a series of FDI enterprises, SMEs and large corporations, HM&P realizes the need to update knowledge about new regulations, and at the same time need detailed and accessible guidance so that businesses can proactively implement the law. This is the reason why the "Wednesday for Data" series is launched and released in the near future.
Main content of the series
The series is compiled by HM&P's team of highly specialized data lawyers, who are directly involved in compliance projects, assist in the design of data governance frameworks, and work with regulators in the implementation process for businesses.
