What businesses need to do after level 2 electronic identification

According to the provisions of Decree 69/2024/ND-CP, accounts issued by the National Public Service Portal and the information system for handling administrative procedures at ministerial and provincial levels to agencies and organizations can only be used until the end of June 30, 2025. Although businesses can still continue to carry out administrative procedures with these accounts, switching to using VNeID level 2 electronic identification accounts is necessary, not only to meet the regulations on deadlines, but also to gradually change the mindset of approaching public services in the direction of digitalization.  synchronize and authenticate user identities.

However, registering for a level 2 account is only the first step. In order to effectively use this account, businesses need to delegate authority to relevant individuals internally such as directors, accountants, human resources, etc. to ensure the smooth management and implementation of administrative procedures. The following article will guide businesses on the steps to implement decentralization and exploit VNeID level 2 accounts in practice.

    1. The necessity of decentralizing rights for individuals after enterprise electronic identification

The registration of a level 2 electronic identification account on the VNeID application is not only a mandatory requirement for businesses but also the beginning of a comprehensive digital transformation process related to internal management activities. However, a corporate electronic identification account will not be effective if it is only used centrally by an individual, usually a legal representative.

In fact, electronic administrative procedures related to tax, insurance, labor, investment, business registration, etc. often performed by many different departments in the business such as accounting, human resources, legal, administrative, etc. The decentralization of the right to use electronic identification accounts for these personnel will contribute:

    1. Increase the initiative in handling work, reduce the dependence on the legal representative for the professional work of each department.
    2. Ensure authenticity and transparency, when every action is recorded by the electronic identity of the person who performs the business.
    3. Optimize administrative procedures, shorten time and minimize errors.
    4. Enhanced security, when access is clearly divided by function and responsibility.

Decentralization is not only a technical solution but also a step forward in corporate governance thinking, helping businesses quickly adapt to the digital environment and increasing requirements from state management agencies.
