The "Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Week 2024" event took place on October 22-23, 2024, at Riverside Palace Hotel, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA). Representatives from HM&P Law Firm, including Lawyer Nguyen Van Phuc and Assistant Lawyer To Kien Luong, attended the event along with hundreds of companies operating in the technology and IT sectors.
On August 15, 2024, representatives from HM&P Law Firm ("HM&P"), led by Managing Partner Nguyen Van Phuc, participated in a technical meeting with the Ministry of Planning and Investment, alongside representatives from the Investment and Trade Working Group of the Vietnam Business Forum (“VBF”). The meeting focused on discussing outstanding issues related to the amendment and supplementation of Decree 01/2021/ND-CP on business registration.

The 2006 Law on Lawyers has played an important role in creating a solid legal framework for the legal profession and law practice organizations, contributing to the protection of justice, democratic freedom values and the legitimate rights of individuals and organizations. However, after more than 17 years of implementation, the Law has revealed a number of limitations, requiring changes and supplements to suit the practical development of society and the legal profession. HM&P's Managing Partner presented his discourse at the National Conference "Contributing ideas to the outline of the orientation for the development of the Law on Lawyers (amended)".
